Awami Ithad Party has condemned the continuous detention of its president Er Rasheed at Police station Kothibagh here.
In a statement here an AIP spokesman said that such “suppressive measures” will not work. “Party had planned a peaceful sit-in in front of Army headquarters at Badami Bagh on Sunday to protest against Pulwama killings and against misuse of AFSPA but the march was foiled and Er Rasheed was arrested.”
“The way Army Chief has been threatening Kashmiris for the past two days. It is an indication that coming days will be more tough for Kashmiris as men in uniform have been given absolute free hand to kill people” the spokesman said.
