The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced the civil services prelims exam date along with the exam calendar for the tests slated for September and October 2023. The JKPSC civil services preliminary 2023 exam will be held on October 15. Although the Jammu and Kashmir PSC has released the exam dates, the session and timings of the examination will be notified separately at jkpsc.nic.in.

While the AP commerce, fine arts music and language, industrial chemistry, renewable energy, Dogri, mathematics and physics in higher education department’s exam will be held on September 10, the excise and taxation part 1, part 2 and part 3 department exam 2023 will be conducted by JKPSC on September 20.
The civil judge (junior division) munsiff prelim exams will be held on October 8. Most other exams in the Government College of Engineering and Technology including AP applied sciences and humanities, mathematics, bio medical engineering, bio technology engineering and food engineering and technology will be held on October 22.

Only those candidates, JKPSC said, should appear in the exam who fulfil the eligibility criteria as prescribed for the post. The candidature of all those applicants will be rejected at any stage of the process of selection, who are found to have misrepresented or concealed the material facts having a bearing on their eligibility, JKPSC added.
